Our Story
Nourishing the Land, Nurturing the People

At Locs and Heritage Farm, LLC, we believe in the power of organic farming and sustainable practices. Our farm is a labor of love, nurtured by Jasmine Lee, a passionate farmer dedicated to her land and community. Jasmine’s journey began in her childhood in Pennsylvania, growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers with her family.

Diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in May 2020, Jasmine was compelled to slow down and reconnect with hobbies like gardening, crochet, and hiking. This period of reflection inspired her to pursue farming professionally. She completed Georgia Organics' flagship farmer apprenticeship in 2023, gaining hands-on experience.

After working on various farms, Jasmine seized an opportunity at Global Growers Network's Rockdale Co-Farm in December 2023, signing up for a 1/10-acre on the uncertified field in March 2024. Through nearly a year of learning organic practices, navigating challenges, and celebrating successes, she earned approval to transition to a 1/4-acre certified organic plot in March 2025.

With big plans for the year ahead, Locs and Heritage Farm is focused on expanding operations, enhancing soil health, embracing permaculture, experimenting with new crops, building vital infrastructure, and continuing to build relationships with the Conyers/Covington communities.

Our mission is to provide fresh, nutritious produce while celebrating our rich heritage through hand-crafted goods. Join us in creating a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
